Trinket is still here at RD. And at almost 8 mos she has made an amazing transformation! She was a tough puppy to raise, (always the toughest, from the get go) requiring special talents that definitely tested my skills. But she has really come around, and reminds me so much of darling Pearl! Much more sweet and snuggy these days. She, like her 1/2 brothers Emmit and Bryce, really require alot more time with owners than I am used to. As long as she spent QUANTITY of time with me, she would be fine. But if not.....all the classic Aussie problems would find their way to my back yard! She would find her own games, her own "chewies" and could be very pushy with my other dogs. She would also become nervous and "spinnie". But like I said, she has really come around, and of course I have always loved her dearly. The reason I didn't place her from the beginning? Well, it is no accident that I have raised her, given her tough personality.  But it is also true that she is one of nicest puppies I have produced! Not only structurally, but in smarts as well. OH MY is she FAST!  Talk about a quick study. It is almost ridiculous how quickly and completely she learns and performs. So I dream of our time in the ring, maybe even breeding her to Baron. It would do my heart good, to have Baron and Park together again. This time on a pedigree. Also, my dreams of having a Bunnie puppy from the Parker/Merry cross were shattered by an early, unauthorized spay.
But the fact remains, I would place her, should the perfect match present itself. Solely to benefit her, not me!
